Website privacy policy
This policy covers visits to bountful.com, our website. The Bountful app has its own privacy policy.
Who we are
Bountful is run by Neo Web Engineering LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14420326). Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean that company.
You can reach us at support@bountful.com.
What we collect
When you visit. We count visits to learn how people find and use the website. For each visit, we record details such as:
- the pages you view and how long you stay;
- the website or link that brought you here;
- your country, region and city, worked out from your IP address;
- your type of device, browser and operating system;
- buttons you click, such as Install.
We don’t use cookies for this, and we don’t store anything on your device to count visits. We don’t keep your IP address with these records, we don’t use them to identify you, and we don’t follow you across other websites.
When you write to us. If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider handles technical information such as your IP address to show you the pages and keep the website secure.
How we use it
We use this information for purposes such as:
- understanding how people find and use the website, and improving it;
- answering your messages;
- keeping the website working and secure;
- meeting our legal duties.
We look at visits as totals, such as how many people viewed a page. We don’t sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Legal basis (UK and EEA). We rely on our legitimate interests in running a useful, secure website and answering the people who contact us, and on our legal duties.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run the website — such as website hosting, visit counting and email. They handle the information for us, under contracts that protect it.
- Others, where appropriate — for example when the law requires it, or to protect the safety or rights of people or our business. If our business is sold or merged, information may be transferred as part of that, and this policy continues to apply to it.
You can ask us for a list of our service providers.
Where it’s stored
Our service providers may handle information in the United States, the European Union and other countries. When it leaves the UK, the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, we use suitable safeguards. One example is the Standard Contractual Clauses, with the UK’s addendum.
How long we keep it
- Visit records hold nothing that names you. We keep them to see how the website changes over time.
- Emails are kept for as long as we need them to help you and for our records.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your information, or object to how it’s used, among other rights. Write to support@bountful.com. We’ll reply within the time the law allows, usually one month. Visit records don’t identify you, so we usually can’t link them to a person.
Complaints. You can complain to a data protection authority. In the UK, that’s the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). In the EU, it’s usually the authority in the country where you live. Please contact us first so we can help.
Children
The website is meant for businesses. It isn’t meant for children under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we change the date at the top.
