Removing Bountful from your store
You can uninstall Bountful at any time from your Shopify admin, under Apps.
What happens right away
- The chat comes off your store.
- Shopify cancels your plan. It ends when the time you’ve paid for or your free trial runs out, and you aren’t billed after that. If you install Bountful again before then, your plan is still there.
What happens to your data
48 hours after you uninstall, Bountful deletes your store’s data: your settings, chats, shoppers, requests, answers, quiz and analytics.
We keep your plan and free trial history. Shopify also remembers the trial days you used for 180 days, so installing again doesn’t give them back. We also keep your messages to our support team, without your store’s name.
If you install again within those 48 hours, your data is still there.
Discount codes
Codes Bountful created stay on the Discounts page in your Shopify admin. Delete any you don’t want.
Before you go
Bountful has no export. Before you uninstall, note anything you want to keep from Shoppers and Analytics. And if something isn’t working, ask us first: click the Bountful logo in the app.
