Test Bountful before shoppers see it
When you install Bountful, shoppers can’t see it. Only you can, until you make it public. Testing is free.
Open a test chat
Before you pick a plan, Home shows Discover. Open a feature, and click Try it on my store. Your store opens in a new tab, with the chat open and a message ready to send. To start with an empty chat, click Open a test chat on the Go live card beside the list.
Once you’re on a plan, Home has an Agent status card. Click Open a test chat there.
A test chat opens your store as a brand-new visitor. Bountful forgets your earlier messages, and your cart is emptied. Use it between two tests, so one test doesn’t carry into the next.
Share it with your team
A test chat opens your store at a private web address. Copy that address from your browser and send it to your team. Anyone with it can see Bountful in the tab they open it in. Shoppers can’t.
Where test chats show
You get 100 test chats a month for free. They don’t show in Conversations, People or Analytics. If you ask for a person in a test, it shows on Requests, marked Test. A question Bountful couldn’t answer shows in Knowledge → Waiting for you, so you can try writing the answer.
