How many test chats you get, and where they show
Before you pick a plan, you get 100 free test chats a month. A test chat counts once you send it at least one message. Opening the chat and closing it doesn’t count.
Where: Settings → Billing
The count starts again on the 1st of each month. Settings → Billing shows how many you’ve used, and when they reset.
When you reach 100
The test chat says you’ve used this month’s test chats, and you can’t send more until they reset. Home shows a banner, This month’s test chats are used up, with a button to see the plans.
Once you’re on a plan, your test chats don’t use up your plan’s conversations.
Where test chats show
- Conversations, People and Analytics: not there. These show real shoppers only.
- Requests: if you ask for a person in a test chat, it shows here, marked Test.
- Knowledge → Waiting for you: a question Bountful couldn’t answer in a test chat shows here, so you can practise writing an answer.
