Make Bountful public
When Bountful is public, shoppers on your store can see the chat and talk to Bountful. Until then, only you can.
Where: Settings → Agent → Public or private
To go public you need a plan. Your first plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and you pay nothing until it ends.
Make it public
- 1Go to Settings → Agent, and find the Public or private card at the bottom.
- 2Click Public.
- 3If you’re on a plan, click Yes, make it public. Bountful is live at once.
- 4If you’re not on a plan yet, click Pick a plan. Shopify’s plan page opens. Pick a plan and approve it there. You come back to Bountful, and it goes public at once.
You can also start from Discover, with the Make it public button. Picking a plan in Settings → Billing doesn’t make Bountful public by itself.
Make it private again
In the same card, click Private, then Yes, make it private. Bountful comes off your store. Your plan stays as it is, so you’re still billed for it. To stop paying, click Change plan in Settings → Billing and pick Test mode.
Home’s Agent status card shows whether Bountful is private or live.
