The 14-day free trial
Your first plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You pay nothing until it ends.
When it starts
The trial starts when you approve your first plan on Shopify’s screen. For most stores, that’s when they make Bountful public: going public asks you to pick a plan.
Each plan has one free trial. Shopify remembers the trial days you used for 180 days, even if you uninstall and install again.
During the trial
You get your plan’s conversations. If you change plan during the trial, the change starts right away. The new plan has its own free trial.
Settings → Billing shows when your plan starts, and what it will cost.
Before it ends
About a week before the trial ends, a banner on Home and on Billing tells you the date, and what your plan costs from then. We email you too.
When it ends
Your plan starts, and Shopify bills you for it. Nothing changes on your store.
If you don’t want to pay, pick Test mode before the trial ends. Click Change plan in Settings → Billing, and pick it on Shopify’s plan page. You won’t be charged.
