Topics Bountful won’t discuss
You can keep Bountful away from topics you don’t want it to talk about. It keeps to this even when a shopper pushes back.
Where: Settings → Agent → Off limits
Choose the topics
Go to Settings → Agent, and open the Off limits card.
- Tick any of the six ready-made topics, such as Competitor brands & products or Medical & health advice.
- To add your own, type it under Add your own and click Add. For example, a competitor’s name, or a product you no longer sell.
You can have up to 50 topics. Click Save.
When a shopper asks about one of these topics, Bountful doesn’t discuss it. The preview shows an example reply for each ready-made topic.
Questions answered only from your policies
For questions about returns, shipping, warranty, terms and how you handle data, you can make Bountful use your policies and nothing else. Go to Settings → Agent → How it answers, and turn on Stick to your policies for these questions.
If no policy covers the question, Bountful says it doesn’t have that. Then it offers to pass the question to you, or tells the shopper to contact your store.
