A link that opens the chat or the quiz
You can share a link to your store that opens with the chat already open. Put it in an ad, an email, your social bio or a button on a page.
Where: Settings → Widget look → A link that opens the chat
Copy the link
- 1Go to Settings → Widget look.
- 2Find the card A link that opens the chat, at the bottom.
- 3Click Copy next to Opens the chat, or next to Opens your quiz.
The quiz link shows once you’ve published a quiz. It opens the quiz on its first question.
Any page works
The link opens your home page. To open the chat on another page, add ?bountful_open=chat to the end of that page’s address. For the quiz, add ?bountful_open=quiz.
Everything else about the visit stays the same. Shoppers can close the chat and carry on shopping.
Good to know
The link works once Bountful is public. While Bountful is private, the link shows nothing to shoppers.
