The product quiz
The quiz asks shoppers a few short questions, then shows the products that fit their answers. When you install Bountful, it drafts a quiz from your products. Shoppers don’t see it until you publish it.
Build it
Go to Settings → Quiz.
- Give the quiz a title.
- Click Add a question. Write the question, and add at least two answers.
- For each answer, add Product tags. Products with any of those tags get a vote when a shopper picks that answer. Product groups count as tags too.
- To put a product at the top of the results, add it under Always in results.
If an answer’s tags match no product, the page warns you.
Test it
Click Test the quiz. Your store opens as a new visitor, with the quiz open. Test chats don’t count in your analytics.
Publish it
Click Publish, then Save. The quiz shows on the chat’s welcome screen, with a Start the quiz button. You can also share a link that opens it.
What the shopper gets
The quiz ends with up to 4 products that fit. There’s no form. The shopper can change an answer, add a product to the cart, or keep chatting.
The Quiz page shows how many shoppers saw the quiz, started it and finished it.
