What Bountful reads from your store when you install it
When you install Bountful, it reads your store. You don’t need to set anything up or upload anything.
On a big store the first read can take a few minutes. Home shows how many products Bountful has read so far, and fills in when it’s done.
What it reads
- Your products: their titles, descriptions, prices, options, stock and collections.
- Your pages: the pages written under Online Store → Pages, once they’re published. Your home page and blog posts aren’t read.
- Your policies: the policies in your Shopify admin under Settings → Policies, such as refunds, shipping and privacy.
At install, Bountful also drafts a product quiz from your products. Shoppers don’t see it until you publish it.
Keeping up to date
Changes to your products, prices and stock reach Bountful on their own, soon after you save them.
Changes to your pages and policies reach Bountful after you open the app. They show within about 15 minutes.
See what it read
Open Knowledge. Products lists your products. The card What Bountful reads on its own shows your pages and policies, and when they were last checked.
You can turn off a page you don’t want Bountful to use, and choose which products it recommends.
